TRAVEL - RN - ICU (650) - MC of Aurora - 7P - 7A - EXT **** INCENTIVE RATE OF $75 APPLIED TO THE POSITION, SEEKING ASAP STARTS**** Unit Information: ICU (65019) Location: The Medical Center of Aurora Address: 1501 S Potomac Aurora Co 80012 Floor: 3 rd floor Building: Main General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds – 37 Level II Trauma Center – Patient population includes: Medical; Neurosurgery including the care of patients with ventriculostomy and Camino; post-operative open heart surgery patients; VV and AV ECMO. Number of Staff – 93 Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 Charge 13-17 staff Night Shift – 1 Charge 13-17 staff Patient Ratios – 2:1 1:1 depending on acuity Type of equipment – Stryker beds, Avea ventilators, GE monitors, Hospira plumb A IV pumps, Maquet IABP, Vigilance II monitors, Impella, ECMO EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. 1-2 years’ experience CVICU/CTICU (Care of the immediate post-operative open heart surgery patient) experience for night positions Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. · 2 years of ICU experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): RSI Arterial and Central line insertions including PA Catheters Best personality Fit: Team member Attention to detail
