Job Summary

As a Sales Arborist , you will be the trusted advisor for our clients, applying your expertise in urban forestry and tree care to diagnose, monitor, and recommend solutions. You will oversee client interactions, prepare detailed proposals, and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring both client satisfaction and profitability. This dynamic role blends technical knowledge, sales skills, and project management expertise, offering opportunities for professional growth and meaningful contributions to our company and community.

Key Responsibilities

Client Consultations & Sales

  • Perform client intake, qualify leads, and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct site visits to diagnose tree and landscape health issues and recommend solutions.
  • Prepare clear and detailed proposals outlining the scope of work and associated costs.
  • Drive revenue through building new client relationships

Project Management

  • Coordinate with clients and project teams to schedule and execute green-lit projects.
  • Prepare work orders to ensure crew efficiency, profitability, and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct day-of-site visits to oversee project execution, ensuring compliance with scope and safety standards.
  • Address client questions or concerns during project execution and provide updates.

Operational Support

  • Gauge equipment needs and manage project details to optimize safety and profitability.
  • Collaborate with owners and team members to refine systems, strategies, and growth initiatives.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings.

Additional Duties

  • Identify and secure residential, commercial, and municipal contracts.
  • Contribute to company strategy and operational improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Skills

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year in exceptional customer service, estimating, and client interface.
  • Minimum 2 years of related outside sales experience.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with CRM software, Google Suite, and other digital tools.
  • Strong organizational and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to verbally communicate and write effectively in English.

Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and detail-focused.
  • Resilient, resourceful, and committed to team success.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to perform light physical work, move safely over uneven terrain, and work in varying environmental conditions.
