QA Engineer – Manual & Automation Testing (Sensors + Applications)

About the Role:

We are hiring a QA Engineer to take ownership of testing workflows across our sensor-integrated platforms and applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about manual testing, capable of identifying edge cases, and ready to expand or build their skills in automation using Python. You will help ensure reliable performance, safety, and usability of both hardware and software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute manual test plans for applications involving sensor inputs such as AKDK and Kinect V2.
• Test and validate features across applications.
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing.
• Analyze sensor outputs and app behavior, ensuring accurate data flow and consistent UI/UX.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, hardware engineers) to understand requirements and features.
• Report, track, and validate bugs.
• Write and maintain automation scripts in Python for recurring test scenarios and APIs.
• Participate in agile sprint ceremonies, demos, and QA planning sessions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in a hardware-software integrated environment.
• Strong experience in manual testing, test case creation, and bug reporting.
• Proficient in Python with the ability to create, understand, and maintain test scripts.
• A passion for problem-solving and a mindset for quality.
• Exposure to testing medical devices or sensor-based systems is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
