- LPN Corrections - Danville, IL*
- $55/hr - $2,200 weekly ($1,162 untaxable stipend + $1,038 taxable)*
- *Start Date: *2-4 weeks out
- *Shift Details: *Night shift 2x7p-7a + 2x11p-7a 40 hours a week or Dayshift 2x7a-7p + 2x7a-3p, 40 hrs a week; every other weekend requirement
- *Contract Length:* 13 weeks with chance to extend

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being and comfort of patients while adhering to healthcare protocols and standards.
Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
- Assist with patient assessments and document patient symptoms, progress, and concerns
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Perform basic life support procedures in emergency situations
- Provide wound care, dressings, and sterile processing as needed
- Administer injections and immunizations as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and activities of daily living
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols
Experience:
- Must have a valid state LPN license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an LPN
- Proficient in administering medications
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices
