Job Description

A well established, stable Ag company is currently looking for a CFO . This is a large operation that is looking for someone with at least 10 years of experience in accounting and experience with GAAP. A CPA is preferred but they will consider applicants who do not have this if they have adequate experience.

They will be overseeing all financial transactions from point-of-sale, closing books, preparing monthly financial statements, etc. This individual will also partner with outside sources to conduct audits. This CFO will be an important part of a dynamic team and have the ability to show their leadership skills.

Duties:

Manage external and internal audit, compliance, and related activities and ensure all current regulatory andcompliance guidelines are adhered to
● Distribute audited financial statements with comments to board, bank and vendors
● Maintain internal controls to ensure safety and security of company assets
● Oversee all federal, state and local tax filings & compliance
● Perform all federal and state motor vehicle permitting and filings
● Maintain currency related to all regulatory and compliance related guidelines

Accounting - Financial and Cost
● Manage and develop the accounting team
● Oversee preparation, quality, timeliness and distribution of internal financial statements
● Ensure/Maintain accurate, timely general ledger and review reconciling activities
● Oversee production and quality of other internal and sales reporting
● Manage all financial forecasting/budgeting activities
● Ensure all necessary controls and other GAAP guidelines are followed
● Oversee A/P, A/R, and Fixed Asset accounting activities

Cash Management - Finance
● Oversee all company banking relationships and activities
● Optimize capital, debt, cash, liquidity and investment positions

Compensation:

$100K-$155K base + bonus potential
