Job Description

You will be part of a dedicated, experienced, and high-performing team at our new Grand Rapids, MI site. At this facility, the assembler role is responsible for the day-to-day production and packaging of components used in our medical devices. You will be a key member of a manufacturing team that is dedicated to safety, quality, continuous improvement, and achieving production goals. You will be working in a clean room manufacturing environment that requires personal protective equipment including eyewear, ear plugs, hair net, and protective gowning.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations following Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Work from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets, and written or verbal assembly instructions.
• Set initial layouts and use a variety of tools to prepare products.
• Make continuity checks on work in process and completed products.
• Conduct quality inspections on the processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
• Operate packaging machines.
• Box and apply labeling materials.

Essential Skills

• No experience required.
• General labor skills.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
• Assembly and production skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, Michigan

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00
