Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to handle general labor and physical duties. This role involves loading bands from wood pulp into bins, performing general labor tasks, and lifting boxes up to 50 lbs. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and production duties.

Responsibilities

• Handle general labor and physical duties
• Load bands from wood pulp into bins
• Perform general labor tasks, such as lifting boxes up to 50 lbs
• Operate forklift and handle material
• Participate in production tasks
• Pick and sort materials
• Work independently and maintain a strong work ethic

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Material handling skills
• Forklift operation
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong reliability and work ethic
• Ability to work independently

Work Environment

Candidates must wear warehouse clothing, including jeans, steel-toed boots, and a shirt or sweatshirt without graffiti. The work environment can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, and the job involves working both indoors and outdoors. This position is crucial during inclement weather, as it involves supplying salt for road maintenance. The typical work hours are Monday to Friday, 7am - 5pm, with some overtime available.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
