Job Title: Business Account Manager
Location: Groton, Connecticut
Job Type: Full-Time
Earnings: $50,000 - $70,000 Job Description: At Verizon, Wireless Zone, client relationships are our top priority. Were looking for a dedicated and personable Business Account Manager to maintain client accounts and serve as our main point of contact. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a drive for providing exceptional customer service. Applicants should also be proficient with spreadsheets and other productivity software.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact in all matters related to the clients concerns and needs while building and strengthening the client relationship.
- Fully manage an assigned book of business including but not limited to, identifying sales opportunities, completing customer requests, troubleshooting issues, and providing customer support.
- Set appointments with current and potential clients to identify needs and provide solutions.
- Participate in marketing efforts to solicit new business, including but not limited to outbound calling, community involvement, outreach programs, networking, and promoting the brand inside and outside the store/retail location.
- Maintain strong knowledge of all Verizon products, accessories, price plans, promotions and service features. Maintain knowledge of competitive offerings.
- Responsible for meeting and/or exceeding assigned monthly quotas.
- Complete accurate paperwork and transactions according to company policies and procedures.
- Assist in other tasks, duties, or projects as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma with equivalent sales experience required
- 2+ years of sales and/or account management experience
- Proven track record of meeting/exceeding quotas
- Demonstrated experience in solutions sales and maintaining a sales funnel
- Excellent verbal, written, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn a technical product or service
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency in Excel
- Must maintain a valid drivers license, reliable transportation and insurance
