Are you a detail-oriented professional with experience in customs brokerage? We're looking for a skilled Brokerage Entry Writer to join our team remotely. If you're passionate about maintaining compliance, ensuring accuracy, and streamlining processes, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:
Accurately input customs entry data.
Handle ISF filing for all ocean shipments, ensuring compliance.
Assist in product classifications for customs brokerage shipments.
Support in-bond entries and bonded shipment processes.
Collaborate with the Import Department on excess shipments.
Conduct audits and reviews on assigned brokerage files and customs payments.
Properly classify commercial invoices using the US Tariff Book and CROSS as reference tools.
Input import AMS information and HTS numbers and transmit to US Customs.
Prepare and submit entry documentation, including forms 7501 and 3461.
Specialize in remote location filing processes.
Maintain compliance measures for import operations and document management.
Ensure adherence to U.S. Customs standards by maintaining proper documentation and procedures.
Arrange deliveries and prepare invoices for import accounts.
File ISF documentation at least 72 hours prior to shipment departure from the origin port.
Prepare delivery orders, coordinate with truckers, and follow up on proof of delivery (POD).
Process documents through the ABI system to obtain Customs and other government agency releases.
Review and monitor Customs rejections and client requests for additional information.
Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience handling customs business.
Background in freight forwarding is preferred.
Solid understanding of customs compliance and regulations.
Knowledge of U.S. importation processes.
Experience filing entries containing PGA information and ISFs accurately and promptly.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in using ABI systems and working in fast-paced environments.
