Job Title: Truck Loader
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Truck Loader to join our team. This role involves loading and unloading trucks with stairs and parts, ensuring all loads are secure and accurate. The ideal candidate must be capable of heavy lifting and able to work in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks with stairs and parts using a hand cart.
• Read and comprehend stair paperwork.
• Strap stairs securely in order by delivery stops.
• Stack box trucks and trailers by hand, sometimes up to two levels high.
• Double-check loads for quality and verify all stairs and parts are on the trucks.
• Stay until all trucks are completed daily.

Essential Skills

• Experience in loading and unloading.
• Knowledge of using a pallet jack.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to read and understand paperwork in English.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Pallet jack experience is a plus.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Taneytown, Maryland.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
