Job Duties and Responsibilities Are you looking to launch your career in a dynamic and supportive environment? We're looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team! If you're smart, eager to learn, and have an accounting or finance degree, we encourage you to apply! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with numbers, and collaborating with different teams. You'll get hands-on experience with inventory accounting, financial reporting, and compliance, helping ensure accuracy in our financial records. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to travel occasionally to see operations firsthand and support inventory audits. What You’ll Do: Learn and grow – We’ll provide training on inventory accounting and general ledger management Reconcile inventory accounts – Help ensure financial accuracy by managing and reviewing inventory records Support month-end close – Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist in financial reporting Ensure compliance – Work with SOX controls to maintain financial integrity (don’t worry, we’ll train you) Collaborate across teams – Work closely with operations, finance, and other departments to improve processes Travel occasionally – Get on-site experience with physical inventory counts and audits (up to 10% travel) Skills, Experience and Requirements What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or Finance A sharp, detail-oriented mind – No prior experience needed, but it’s a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – You enjoy figuring things out and making sure numbers add up Excel skills – Basic proficiency is great; experience with Oracle is a bonus A team player with great communication skills – You’re comfortable working with different teams and asking questions when needed CPA Candidate is a plus Visa sponsorship not available for this role Salary Ranges Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $80,000.00/Year Benefits We offer versatile health perks, including flexible spending accounts, HSA, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, career opportunities, and a flexible time away plan; all benefits can be viewed here: DISH Benefits . Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
