The Sports Psychologist specializes in applying psychology to enhance athletic performance and address the mental health needs of athletes. Working closely with a diverse range of athletes, the psychologist provides individual and group therapy, psychoeducational programming, and collaborates with healthcare professionals to promote overall athlete wellness. This role requires a doctoral degree in psychology, clinical experience, and strong communication skills to effectively support athletes and teams in achieving their personal and athletic goals.
Job Description:
The clinical Sport Psychologist performs in an interdisciplinary science that draws on knowledge from the fields of biomechanics, physiology, kinesiology and psychology. It involves the study of how psychological factors affect performance and how participation in sport and exercise affect psychological and physical factors. Sport Psychologists work with a comprehensive care team; addressing the entire spectrum of athlete wellbeing to enhance their personal, social, emotional, academic and athletic growth and performance.To show our commitment to you and to assist with your transition into our organization, we will also offer a $2500 sign on bonus to those that have 1+ year of experience.
