Role Description: 

We are seeking a Senior QA Analyst (Software Test Analyst 5) to support Agency Services – Treasury within the Department of Technology Management and Budget. The selected candidate will play a key role in testing financial systems and ensuring high-quality software implementations.

You’ll be responsible for (Responsibilities): 

• Communicate and collaborate with Business Analysts (BAs) and Development teams throughout the SDLC.
• Assist in creating test scenarios that validate acceptance criteria for business requirements.
• Conduct functional and integration testing to support new and updated systems.
• Work closely with third-party vendors to ensure proper test coverage and quality assurance.
• Develop and execute structured test scripts while ensuring results are accurately recorded.
• Participate in requirement verification, test prioritization, and scope discussions.
• Maintain and manage defect tracking, including re-testing and walkthroughs.
• Generate test documentation, including test plans, scripts, reports, and progress charts.
• Ensure test processes align with industry best practices and stakeholder expectations.
• Provide time management, risk assessment, quality assurance, and change management support.

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years of experience with SAP Financials
5+ years of experience in QA requirement analysis and test planning
5+ years of experience in QA execution and defect tracking
5+ years of experience using QA tracking tools (e.g., Rational, HPALM, or similar)

Preferred Skills:

• • Experience with GenTax
  • Experience with Solution Manager, HPALM, or similar QA tracking tools

You’ll have (Qualification & Experience):

•  Bachelor's Degree in related field is required.
