Position Title: CNC Machinist

Wage: $26-$40/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 4:30pm-2:30am

QPS Employment Group is hiring a CNC Machinist for a company in Brookfield, WI. This is a direct hire role.

CNC Machinist Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform set up, operation, programming of complex machined components for many different industries
- Set up all jobs from scratch and create the set-up documentation that will allow Machinist level 3 to set up the next time with all data and pictures available
- Strong knowledge of programming and may have ability to make edits or program
- Perform complex machining
- Run the first piece to print specification
- Diagnose problems and make adjustment
- Manually inspect the part to the inspection sheet criteria
- Read blueprints to a high level and correlate that back to the inspection protocol and documentation
- Strong knowledge of GD&T tolerancing
- May run multiple machines simultaneously as a production cell
- Advanced shop math with trigonometry and geometry
- Mentor and train CNC Operators and Machinist
- Other duties as assigned

CNC Machinist Requirements:
- High school diploma; CNC technical diploma preferred
- 5+ years of machining
- Mechanical aptitude
- Above average math skills
- Willingness to learn
- Frequent repetitive bending and twisting
- Occasionally walk, use foot/feet to operate machine, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, reach above shoulders and move from place to place
- Continuously stand for up to 10 hours
intermittently sit, talk, and listen frequently, and will frequently use hands to finger, handle, or touch
- Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Occasionally lift up to 50lbs and will frequently lift up to 30lbs such as moving parts from material storage and moving parts in and out of work area
- Occasionally exposed to wet, humid conditions and toxic or caustic chemicals
- Frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles and works near moving mechanical parts
- The noise level in the work environment is loud
