Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods within our distribution center. This role is critical to maintaining the flow of operations and supporting overall warehouse management.

Duties

• Operate forklifts, including cherry pickers and clamp trucks, to move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Utilize pallet jacks and RF scanners for accurate inventory management and materials handling.
• Load and unload shipments, ensuring that products are handled safely and efficiently.
• Build pallets for storage or shipment, adhering to company standards for safety and organization.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.

Experience

• Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to materials handling and forklift operation is essential.
