What You Will Do:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Content planning and creative development: Conceptualize, create, and curate engaging, high-quality content (text, images, video, stories, etc.) that captures the brand's voice and resonates with our target audience. Stay ahead of social media trends and explore new content formats to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Develop and execute social media strategies: Collaborate in the development and implementation of innovative social media strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives. This includes platform-specific strategies, content calendars, and campaign plans.
  • Content analysis and reporting: Track and analyze content performance on social to identify areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate results and insights to stakeholders.
  • Creative agency management: Collaborate, brief, and manage creative agency partners who are developing content for social and digital 360.
  • Trendspotting and innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, technologies, and best practices. Explore and experiment with new platforms and features to enhance our social media presence.
  • Team Management & Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior team members. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment. (Depending on specific team structure.)

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5-6 years of experience in social media and content creation, specifically within the beauty industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media campaigns.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) and their respective best practices.
  • Strong content creation and copywriting skills, with a keen eye for visual storytelling.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with social media analytics tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Passion for the beauty industry and a deep understanding of current trends.
  • 10% - 15% travel
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Paid Social Media experience
  • Influencer campaign management
