We're looking for a driven, solutions-oriented Sales Engineer to join our team and help shape the future of technology. This role bridges designing and customer success, combining technical skill with big-picture thinking to bring ideas to life and deliver real-world impact.

What You'll Do:

• Design innovative products and systems using SolidWorks and your design creativity.
• Collaborate across teams to gather materials, develop concepts, and turn ideas into working prototypes.
• Test and refine designs for performance, safety, and usability.
• Help guide the production process, setting standards and ensuring top-tier quality.
• Identify opportunities in the market and contribute to new product strategies.
• Tackle design/engineering and manufacturing challenges head-on with practical, smart solutions.
• Work closely with other engineers to achieve goals, improve processes, and hit key milestones.
• Keep projects on track—on time, on budget, and exceeding expectations.
• Contribute to capital planning, lean operations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay laser-focused on boosting product efficiency, reducing costs, and maximizing performance.
• Help ensure we're meeting customer needs, ISO standards, and our own high bar of excellence.
• Represent OAV with professionalism—networking, sharing ideas, and strengthening partnerships.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of hands-on engineering experience.
• A degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Bonus points for experience with air bearings, foil bearings, motion systems, or fluid dynamics.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other top-tier production systems.
• Skilled in diagnosing issues, thinking creatively, and finding smart solutions.
• Strong time-management, organization, and leadership skills.
