Job Title: Chemical Sales Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chemical Sales Representative specializing in H2S mitigation. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling our cutting-edge chemical solutions to customers in the oil and gas industry where H2S mitigation is essential. With a focus on achieving sales targets and building long-term customer relationships, the Chemical Sales Representative will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth while providing exceptional technical expertise and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Identify and prospect potential clients within the oil and gas industry.
• Conduct in-depth technical presentations - both in person and remotely - to educate clients on the benefits and effectiveness of our H2S mitigation chemical solutions.
• Collaborate with the internal technical team to provide comprehensive and accurate product information, addressing customer questions and concerns.
• Engage in negotiation and contract management, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both the company and the client.
• Maintain accurate sales records, including customer information, sales activities, and forecast reports.
• Regularly monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, providing insights to the management team for product development and sales strategies.
• Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build industry knowledge and establish professional relationships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chemical Sales Representative, specializing in H2S mitigation or related chemicals.
• In-depth knowledge of H2S and its mitigation methods, and the ability to effectively communicate and educate clients on the topic.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to engage with customers at all levels of an organization.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to understand and address complex customer needs.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
