Job Summary

Chroma ATE, Inc., a 40-year-old world leading supplier of Test, Measurement, Inspection Automation Solution is expanding their team in North America. The ideal candidate will have excellent business acumen and experience in our understanding of test systems and solutions for semiconductor manufacturing.

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our technical capabilities and customer needs, providing expert guidance on our products and services. This role involves engaging with clients during the pre-sales process, conducting product demonstrations, and ensuring that our solutions meet their technical requirements. The Sales Engineer will work closely with both the sales and services teams to drive successful outcomes.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
• Conduct engaging product demonstrations that highlight the features and benefits of our offerings.
• Provide technical support during the pre-sales process, addressing any inquiries or concerns from potential clients.
• Demo the test plan for various semiconductor devices on SW / HW systems.
• Convery customer’s requirements to Application and R/D teams.
• Serves as the point person for the sales team for the sales process, problem solving and escalating issues.
• Help to manage the CRM (or sales funnel) and review the account information consistently.
• Act as a technical liaison between Chroma and customer to ensure customer’s requirements are met and satisfied.
• Cooperate with sales team on pre /post sale activities and promotion campaigns.
• Assist in creating compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate our value proposition.
• Prepare and develop product presentations to present the company’s product and service.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless implementation of solutions post-sale.
• Participate in trade shows and industry events to promote our products and services.

Qualifications

• BS EE/CS/Engineering related and at least 3 years of semiconductor IC test related experience
• Proficient communication skills and content creation using Microsoft Office
• Some knowledge and skills in field sales experience in Semiconductor and Electronics market.
• Able to learn and operate various automated test equipment and wafer prober
• Excellent communication, reporting and presentation skills
• Some experience working in HP/ Keysight or Keithley test instruments is plus
• Proven experience in a pre-sales or technical sales role is preferred.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python is advantageous for technical discussions is plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• A passion for technology and staying updated on emerging trends in the industry.
• Fluent in English.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
