Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering and test automation. Experience with SaaS labs, Selenium and Jenkins
• 4+ years of experience in engineering in cloud ecosystems. GCP Preferred.
• 4+ years of experience using python and/or java.
• 4+ years of experience testing APIs (REST or GraphQL)
• 4+ years of experience designing and deploying CI/CD pipelines and github actions
• 4+ years developing and deploying automated data quality tests.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with Data Quality - SQL and Non SQL Drivers
• Experience in accessibility testing, destructive and Chaos testing is a plus
• Any of the following test certifications - QAI, ASQ, IIST, ISEB, ISTQB - are a plus
• Experience with Kafka messaging que an integrating with APIs
• Other preferred skills: GCP (composer, dataflow, dataproc), Airflow, Sauce labs, postman, cucumber, serenity, and jmeter

Insight Global is seeking a Quality Engineer for a Hybrid Opportunity with a large financial institution. This role will be responsible for driving quality work through automation including tools, processes, measurements, environments and data. Delivers and drives automation strategy. Reviews progress and makes recommendations for areas of opportunities/improvements, including automation & tool usage. Responsible for collaboration across teams and demonstration of ownership. Provides strategic mentorship to development teams and lower-level engineers.

Compensation: $60-66 depending on experience, education, and other factors
