Job Description
1. Experience as a Project Manager working on Brand Strategy projects- managing multiple stakeholders and communicating brand strategy. This PM will going to different business units to talk about Brand Strategy based on BCBS products. This PM needs to have experience discussing marketing and brand communications with various stakeholders internally.
2. Experience with competitive research and analysis of other branding strategies within other industry customers. - this PM will be researching other Healthcare companies and what they are doing with their branding so BCBS and be more competitive and vibrant.
3. Strong Communication and Documentation Skills- They will not be using JIRA or other PM tools, so this person needs to be very strong in documenting timelines, scope of work, etc so they can communicate to these stakeholders the project status, current state, future state, and areas of risk.
A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Project Manager to join their marketing team on a part-time basis. This is a contract role, targeted at 4-5 months, and will be 15-20 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
The ideal project manager will be working within the Brand Strategy division of the Marketing Operations organization. The team is split up into brand verticals (brand business planning, brand development, brand governance/research.) The Brand Business Planning associate is currently on medical leave which is why the team needs someone ASAP. The workload is currently being handled by the Senior Manager of Brand Governance. She is focusing 50% of her time on the brand business development vertical, and 100% of her brand governance job. She is looking for a strong for project manager to help manage deliverables, create agendas for meetings, get into the weeds with the brand team, and keep momentum going. Another component of this vertical is internal communication development; this individual would be working with internal communication partners to help build out the internal communication strategy; i.e. facilitating reviews, adding recommendations, and managing the review process. The ideal project manager will keep the timeline consistent with different phases of the projects, and update the manager of the progress.
