Professional Land Surveyor Are you a skilled and motivated surveyor looking to advance your career? Look no further! As a Professional Land Surveyor, you will work on a variety of projects in both public and private sectors, including topographic, boundary/cadastral, construction, ALTA, As-built, land development, easement, residential, and commercial surveying. You will also have the opportunity to provide engineering support and assist with site design and layout for commercial businesses. Collaboration with entry-level and experienced surveyors, as well as other support staff, will be essential to ensure seamless project execution. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with team members to understand their capabilities and provide guidance and support. Conduct thorough research and gather data for projects, equipping field crews with all necessary information to complete the surveys efficiently. Set up surveys for field crews and educate team members on specific tasks. Delegate tasks to support staff, fostering opportunities for professional growth and advancement within the company. Utilize conventional surveying and GPS methods to gather field data and determine precise locations, measurements, elevations, and contours. Write legal descriptions, draft certificates of survey, and provide guidance to junior staff on corner records. Participate in pre-survey planning meetings to provide updates and share progress throughout all project phases. Ensure project schedules and productivity goals are met. Qualifications: Active PLS license in good standing with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience. Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D and MS Office software; preference for candidates with Trimble experience. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently, with strong listening, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Fluent in English (verbal and written). Valid driver’s license and clean driving record .
