Job Description

Build your Career with an Industry Leader

Headquartered in Cincinnati, LSI manufactures advanced lighting, graphics and display solutions across strategic vertical markets. The company’s American-made products, which include indoor and outdoor lighting, print graphics, digital graphics, refrigerated and custom displays, aim to help create value for customer brands and enhance the consumer experience. The company employs approximately 1,900 people at 16 manufacturing plants in the U.S. and Canada. Additional information about LSI is available at .

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Production Designer to join our marketing team. This role is ideal for someone with some professional experience (or strong internship experience) who is ready to take the next step in their career. The Production Designer will be responsible for executing, formatting, and updating a wide range of marketing materials—not developing original creative concepts.

This is a production-heavy role requiring precision, efficiency, and consistency. The ideal candidate is someone who can follow brand guidelines, work within existing templates, resize and adjust designs, and handle multiple projects with fast turnaround times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and update marketing assets, including print and digital materials, using existing templates and brand guidelines.
  • Resize, reformat, and adapt creative files for different applications (e.g., social media, web, print, trade show materials).
  • Make content updates to technical documents, installation guides, product specifications, sell sheets, promotional flyers, presentations, and other collateral based on feedback from the marketing team.
  • Ensure consistency across all marketing materials by adhering to brand standards.
  • Support website and social media updates by preparing and formatting graphics.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to execute projects on time and with accuracy.
  • Assist with vendor coordination for print and digital production.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field, OR equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a graphic design or production role (internships count!).
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail —able to catch inconsistencies and ensure brand compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and quick turnarounds.
  • Experience working within existing design systems (not focused on original creative development).
  • Basic knowledge of digital and print production (understanding file types, resolution, color profiles, etc.).
  • Bonus skills: Experience with basic HTML/CSS, video editing (Premiere, After Effects), or photography principles.

This role is not a conceptual design position —it’s about execution, consistency, and efficiency in producing high-quality marketing materials. If you thrive in a structured environment and enjoy the production side of design, we’d love to hear from you!

Benefits:

  • 401(k)
  • Health insurance
  • Dental insurance
  • Vision insurance
  • Paid time off
