Job Summary:
We are looking for an On-Call Banquet Server to join our team. This flexible position is ideal for individuals looking to work on an as-needed basis. The On-Call Banquet Server will assist in providing excellent guest service during events by setting up, serving, and cleaning up banquet functions, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up banquet rooms according to event guidelines, including arranging tables, chairs, and other necessary items.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized service area throughout the event.
• Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns or complaints in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Assist in the breakdown and cleaning of the event space after the event is complete.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols.
• Communicate effectively with team members, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth event execution.
• Be flexible and willing to work during events as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform any other duties related to the banquet service as directed by management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food service or banquet settings is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and handle physical tasks.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event scheduling.
• Must have reliable transportation to attend events on short notice.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs on a regular basis, and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach for various tasks such as setting up events and carrying trays.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including carrying food and beverages, and moving tables and chairs.
• Ability to work in a variety of settings, including crowded areas and at varying temperatures, depending on the event.
