Job Description

Andrews Farm & Nursery is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and plant-knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Nursery & Plant Care Technician. This is a fully hands-on position, ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor work and has practical experience with plant maintenance and nursery operations.

This is a full-time role, working 5 days per week, with a required half-day on Saturdays.

• Locate, pull, and organize plants for customer and vendor orders.
• Pot, water, and maintain a variety of shrubs, trees, and perennials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and functional nursery space.
• Engage with customers and vendors in a friendly, knowledgeable manner.
• Assist with general upkeep and operational tasks around the nursery.

Requirements:

• Prior hands-on experience in plant care, nursery work, horticulture, or landscaping.
• Working knowledge of plant types, care schedules, watering needs, and seasonal maintenance.
• Able to lift, move, and work with plants and materials in all weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable interacting with customers and vendors as needed.

Schedule:

• Full-time: 5 days per week.
• Half-day on Saturdays is required.
