About the Role
The Company is in search of a Managing Director with a strong background in application software to lead the strategic vision and implementation of software solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the company's application software strategy, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and growth plans. This role requires a leader who can oversee the design, development, and deployment of high-quality, secure, and performance-driven software, as well as manage the software development lifecycle and global coordination of software solutions. The Managing Director will also be tasked with fostering a culture of innovation, managing budgets, and resources, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Candidates for the Managing Director position at The Company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an advanced degree preferred, and at least 15 years' of experience in software development, including a minimum of 5 years' in a senior leadership role within the financial services industry. The role demands a proven track record in leading large-scale software projects, a deep understanding of banking operations, regulatory requirements, and technology trends, and strong skills in strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and experience in managing global teams are essential. Relevant certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or ITIL are a plus. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader, committed to driving innovation and efficiency through technology, and capable of engaging with senior executives and key stakeholders to meet the company's application software needs.
