We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Leasing Agent to join our team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process, providing exceptional customer service to prospective tenants, and ensuring that our properties are fully leased to qualified individuals. This role requires strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for real estate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential tenants.
- Assist prospective tenants in completing rental applications and provide guidance through the leasing process.
- Maintain knowledge of local rental market trends, property features, and community amenities.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract potential tenants, including online listings, social media, and community outreach.
- Respond to inquiries from prospective tenants via phone, email, and in-person.
- Screen applicants by conducting background checks, credit checks, and verifying rental history.
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
- Foster positive relationships with current residents to enhance tenant retention and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with property management to address maintenance requests and tenant concerns promptly.
- Stay informed about local laws and regulations regarding leasing and rental practices.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, real estate, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
