REQUIRED SKILLS

• Minimum B.S. in Physical Sciences or Engineering (Chemistry, Physics, or Chemical Engineering)
• * 5 - 10 years of experience in the combustion engine emissions field
• * Understanding of TWC function, failure modes, and sensitivity to inputs and noise factors
• * Experience with chassis or engine dynamometer facilities (VERL or APTL) and an understanding of their operations with respect to vehicle drive cycles, emission reports, and data collection using ATI Vision/ETAS
• * Sound technical knowledge of regulated emission requirements
• * Excellent written and oral communication skills are required

• Even better, you may have_
• * Familiarity with programming software including LabVIEW and Matlab
• * Familiarity with emission measurement techniques including FID, FTIR, mass spectrometry, and x-ray analysis
• * 5+ years demonstrating ability to analyze, plan, and solve sophisticated system problems as they relate to engines and emissions.
