Position Title: Healthcare Domain Consultant Agentic AI
Location: US - Remote (PST hours)

Roles and Responsibilities:
Consulting Engagements:
- Lead and manage workstreams in a Start-up or consulting programs or projects, guiding small teams and contributing to the overall success of the Healthcare practice.
- Bring deep expertise in healthcare operations and practices, with a focus on key functional areas within the healthcare value chain, such as:
- End-to-end claims processes
- Contact centers
- Utilization management and prior authorization
- Assist clients in identifying use cases for intelligent automation in healthcare, providing accurate effort estimations and clear assumptions for implementation.
Digital Strategy / Blueprint / Roadmap Engagement Delivery:
- Work alongside consulting program/project leaders to deliver digital transformation services tailored to healthcare organizations.
- Guide clients through the development of their digital strategy, blueprint, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and healthcare-specific needs.
- Analyze clients' current state of digital capabilities, identifying gaps and opportunities to improve operational efficiency, patient outcomes, and stakeholder experiences.
- Develop tailored solutions that enhance healthcare delivery, drive positive health outcomes, and streamline administrative processes.
Agentic AI / AI Solution Implementations:
- Serve as an integral team member for implementing digital or AI solutions that drive operational efficiency in healthcare settings, including:
- Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
- Document Understanding and Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
- Chatbots and virtual assistants
- Process Mining and Machine Learning
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand healthcare-specific business needs and build actionable implementation roadmaps.
- Lead teams in the configuration and deployment of digital and AI capabilities to address operational challenges, ensuring readiness among business stakeholders.
- Assist clients in leveraging intelligent automation technologies to drive transformation in areas such as claim processing, prior authorization, and patient services.
Healthcare-Specific Intelligent Automation Leadership:
- Lead intelligent automation initiatives across healthcare domains, focusing on:
- Conducting process assessments, defining business cases, and selecting appropriate vendors.
- Drive process improvement and re-engineering efforts using automation and AI to optimize healthcare business functions and patient experiences.
- Develop and execute automation programs, ensuring alignment with healthcare regulatory standards, operational goals, and transformation initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in the healthcare domain, with a strong understanding of the healthcare value chain and its business functions, including payer/provider processes.
- In-depth knowledge of one or more healthcare functional areas such as claims management, utilization management, contact centers, and appeals/grievances.
- At least 5 years of experience in implementing intelligent automation solutions, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), low-code platforms, and Optical Character Recognition (OCR).
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience with leading intelligent automation platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or Microsoft.
- At least 4 years of experience working within Agile or RPA methodologies for intelligent automation project delivery.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing Process and Task Mining capabilities, specifically using platforms like UiPath Process Mining.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present effectively to senior business and IT stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability, with expertise in process analysis, mapping, and troubleshooting, particularly in a healthcare context.
- Familiarity with the financial, performance, and quality metrics used in the healthcare industry to measure outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of advanced AI/ML techniques, particularly as applied to healthcare use cases, is a plus.
- Experience with Strategy-to-Implementation programs related to Digital Transformation or Intelligent Automation in healthcare, including cloud-based solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and other modern project management methodologies for digital healthcare transformation.
