Job Description:

• Review payroll data before submission to a third-party processor and after it is returned for payment.
• Perform various analytic procedures before disbursing payroll to employees.
• Handle a dynamic payroll environment with frequent additions, terminations, allowances, and changes.
• Possess excellent review skills, be hands-on, and have strong analytical skills to identify and correct errors.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience processing payroll in Workday, specifically using the Workday payroll module (not HRIS).
• Proficient in navigating Workday and running queries to address employee-related questions.
• Experience managing the entire payroll process from start to finish is strongly desired (individual contributor position).
• Any gaps in the resume must be explained.
• Looking for stability, with slow and steady growth potential.
• Providing examples of process improvements is a plus.
• Must have multistate payroll experience for a domestic role (California experience not required).
• Strong foundation in payroll accounting, including working with the accounting team on month-end accruals and ensuring proper classification of withholdings.
• Experience providing support and documentation for audits and other compliance-related activities.
• One Source Virtual is the provider for record-keeping for tax purposes.
