The Director of Commercial Banking’s primary roles will be to develop, grow, and manage commercial business relationships in the Arizona market, including offering bank products such as deposit products and treasury management services to support a relationship-based approach while developing and leading a team of Commercial Banking associates.
This important position involves both the comprehensive management of existing customer relationships and solicitation of new business opportunities through targeted prospects as well as leading a team to do the same. In addition to excellent client service, a successful Director of Commercial Banking can critically review, analyze, structure, risk rate, negotiate, and document new loans; develop full relationship plans to attract new business to the Bank; and attract, develop, and retain Commercial Banking talent to ensure future growth and profitability.
EXPERIENCE
• Proven track record of relationship-based business development with sustained portfolio growth.
• 10+ years of related commercial lending or portfolio management.
• 7+ years of management experience.
• Must be goal-oriented, self-motivated, and client-focused with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
EDUCATION
A Bachelor's Degree in finance, accounting, or business administration is required. An MBA or other related graduate degree preferred.
