This is a PART-TIME internship (Tuesdays and Thursdays on site) - 16 hours/week that can be applied for college credit. Upon completion of the full internship, the intern will be eligible for a bonus. Local applicants only, please.  

Start date: June 3  

Duration: 10 weeks  

Description:  

The Direct Sales & Marketing Associate role involves the management of relationships and marketing communications with direct library partners. TN Marketing’s content and brands, including Craft & Hobby, offer a unique online learning community serving public and school libraries. As a growing business sector, this role supports lead generation and marketing outreach activities that bring TN Marketing’s creative content to patrons and/or students both in the library and at home.

This person must be a self-starter, team-oriented, have a yearning to learn, and excel at multitasking a variety of projects on a need-by-need basis.

Job Responsibilities May Include  

• Assist in the creation and management of marketing campaigns designed to engage and nurture leads.
• Help plan and execute Craft & Hobby activations at national and state industry events to increase awareness and consideration for Craft & Hobby with librarians.
• Research the competitive landscape to identify new business opportunities 
• Generate social media content to help bolster our following and increase engagement 
• Providing Stunt and Promotional Marketing content suggestions and materials to library partners

• Ability to work on multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines. 
• Team player who takes ownership and works well with others.
