About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief People and Culture Officer (CPCO) to join their executive leadership team. The CPCO will be a transformational leader, responsible for designing and leading a strategy that enhances the organization's team, structure, and culture. This role demands a focus on stewardship, inclusivity, service, and excellence, and the successful candidate will be expected to model these values while serving a dedicated and talented team. Key responsibilities include planning, developing, and implementing system-wide initiatives for personnel acquisition and management, employee engagement, and customer service excellence. The CPCO will also be a critical player in change management, ensuring that HR's strategic plans align with the institution's overall strategies. The ideal CPCO will have a strong background in HR and be an enterprise-wide thinker, capable of setting direction and establishing best practices in areas such as recruitment, retention, succession planning, organizational development, training, compensation, performance management, and employee relations. While experience in the nonprofit sector is preferred, candidates from all sectors are encouraged to apply. The role offers a unique opportunity to drive change and transform the People and Culture function, with a focus on cultural excellence initiatives that support employees. The CPCO will lead a team of professionals in various HR areas, including compensation, recruitment, employee and organizational development, and cultural enhancement efforts.
