We are currently seeking a highly motivated full-time CAD Design Engineer to develop and manage all current and future lines of water filtration systems. The contribution of new ideas and application of experience is critical. Scope of role will focus on many areas of design, production, and the overall customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Use SolidWorks to design, model, and document new products and features.
• Manage and maintain SolidWorks PDM system to ensure proper version control and organization of design files.
• Develop, validate, and verify assembly documents and manufacturing instructions.
• Ensure the accuracy of existing BOMs by creating and updating them as needed.
• Create and modify accompanying manuals or related literature.
• Maintain file library of product designs, styles, and components.
• Participate in quality control processes for established standards and specifications.
• Communicate directly with management on design modifications, technical specifications, and enhancements.
• Continuously promote personal growth by actively studying various forms of resources, such as online guides/forums/tutorials, magazines, books, etc. May also include attendance to seminars, conventions, or workshops.
• This position is not limited to the duties listed above; additional responsibilities may arise with new opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-year degree in related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks is required.
• Experience with SolidWorks PDM system is required.
• Excellent organizational and project-management abilities, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies.
• Must have creative problem solving skills, knowledge of design techniques, and the ability to present solutions.
• Ability to adjust to shifting priorities while meeting deadlines – continuously producing high quality work.
