Buffer| $16.00 an hour | 5:00am-1:30pm / 1st Shift / Onsite/ Direct Hire Opportunities

What Matters Most:

The buffer position sets up and operates multiple grinding machines and trained as instructed. Restores the appearance of reconditioned equipment and recertifies equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Follows work instructions/specifications to determine required exterior finish on a product and any special options.
• Removes decals, signage, and paint from plastic headgear/helmets in preparation for reconstruction and refurbishing.
• Operates machines, uses tools and completes all tasks following standard work instructions and operating procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Manual dexterity for operating equipment and tools
• Flexibility with schedule, ability to work mandatory overtime.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems.
• Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations within the organization.

The base pay range for this position is $16.00, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
