Main Responsibilities of a General Sales Manager - Responsible for every aspect of everyday supervision of store outlets
- Responsible for resource management
- Takes care of stock, staff, and sales management
Additional Responsibilities - Recruiting and training sales staff.
- Coordinate scheduling and training of sales staff
- Oversee the flow of traffic and that all customers are waited on in a timely fashion
- Greet all customers with your sales staff with a smile within minutes of visiting the facility.
- Complete clean and accurate paperwork with customers.
- Overseeing stock and pricing control.
- Track and log all results and trends regularly for business forecasting
- Set follow-up appointments with sales staff to keep customers aware of the latest developments
- Head up all follow-up opportunities with sales staff
Qualifications and Requirements - Previous experience in sales management or other related fields
- Familiarity with CRM platforms
- Knowledge of automotive processes and practices
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong financial and business acumen and the ability to drive revenue and profitability

- Automotive retail Sales Manager, General Sales Manager or General Manager experience

- Valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
