H&E Equipment Services has an immediate opening for Assistant Service Manager.The Assistant Service Manager reports directly to the Service Manager, and is responsible for handling incoming service calls for rental and customer owned units, dispatching and monitoring all field mechanics, and overseeing all customer owned unit repairs in the field. This individual will also assist with processing parts orders for field service technicians and processing all warranty claims. Job Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a mechanic as well as 1-2 years’ of previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Must demonstrate competency in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of various engines and heavy equipment lines.
  • Exceptional customer service and organizational skills.
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite, smartphones, and tablets.
  • The ability to train lower level employees.
  • A high school diploma or its equivalent is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Factory, Mechanical, or Vocational training is very beneficial!
  • Mechanical/Supervisory experience in the industrial or heavy equipment fields is a plus!
  • Warranty experience is desired.
